Peter Blix Bryant

Peter Blix Bryant

Peter Bryant is a dedicated professional in the gaming industry. He's a partner at Solarian Games, part of the acting troupe at Nerdy Dog Productions, and an independent creator.

As a partner at Solarian Games, Peter primarily focuses on writing, game design, and logistics. His work on the Top Secret product line has become an integral part of the past three products. Currently, he's working on an exciting new line of products, harnessing the new Razer Game Engine.

At Nerdy Dog Productions, Peter is part of the core troupe of actors. He's featured in movies, A Word From a Gamer and Jack Be Nimble, currently on Amazon Prime. He also starred in the shorts, Don't Say His Name, Things We Take, and Let's Play. In addition to his acting roles, he's also involved in movie editing, special effects, and soundtrack scoring.

As an independent artist, Peter has explored diverse creative avenues, including podcasting, authorship, game design, and digital artistry. Notably, he hosted "MythWits," a weekly live video show that spanned seven years and featured conversations with industry professionals from around the world. He's collaborated with RTalsorian Games, Tri Tac Games, Dilly Green Bean Games, and Chapter13 Press (now GrindHaus).

James Carpio

James Carpio

Game designer, streamer, and learning and development guru, James Carpio began his obsession with gaming at 14 with B/X D&D. James spends most of his time as a designer (instructional and game), embracing nerd and pop culture. His game journey started with Electonic Arts/Maxis as a support tech and later Akklaim Entertainment when he switched coasts. Co-owner of Solarian Games, James developed the Lucky 13 game engine for Top Secret: New World Order, Anarchy (RPG of the No-Future), Tales from the Fallen Empire for DCC, Pulp Era, Spookybeans, and a few upcoming projects, including Witchlight (with Mary Lindholm), IronGarde Watch for DCC, and Death Race Z. Other nerdy endeavors include hosting the Welcome to the Grindhouse! Vlog and Infinite Oddesseys, an RPG actual play livestream. Levi Combs is the owner, publisher and creative head at Planet X Games. He is a lifelong gamer, RPG enthusiast and is just as stoked about role playing games and all those funny little dice as he was in the summer of 1983 when he first got his hands on a copy of the D &D red box (you know the one!). In addition to games and supplements for Planet X, Levi has worked for Avalon Hill, Frog God Games, Necromancer Games, Mudpuppy Games and others. David Cook

David “Zeb” Cook

David “Zeb” Cook joined the TSR design staff in 1979, as employee #24 and through the dint of persistence rose employee #2 or 3 (in senority only) the time he left in 1994.In those years he designed such things as X1: The Isle of Dread (with the late Tom Moldvay), the D&D Expert Set, Oriental Adventures, the AD&D 2nd Edition Rules, the Conan RPG, the Indiana Jones RPG, the Escape From New York boardgame (really!), the Planescape Campaign Setting, and what must have been the personal pinnacle of his career the Bullwinkle and Rocky Party Game. After leaving TSR, Zeb entered the world of videogames where he worked on a lot of things that never saw the light of day and a few that did such as Lords of the Realm III and the City of Villains MMO. He currently works as a Content Zone Lead on the successful and entertaining Elder Scrolls Online MMO. In addition to RPGs and MMOs, he’s a big fan of historical and not-so-historical miniatures, welding and laser cutters, bicycling, and good beer.

Michael Curtis

Michael Curtis

Michael Curtis was born under the Green Star and raised by the Silent Monks of Ugatta. Under their tutelage, he learned the secrets of both the Shivering Palm and the art of game design. Once deemed the Chosen One of the Dawn of the New Time, Michael is best known for his work with Goodman Games. He has written or contributed to more than 80 projects for Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG. After the world ended in 2020, Michael accepted a full-time job with Goodman Games as Director of Product Development for the DCC RPG product line. He lives on Long Island, NY, with far too many books and an acceptable number of cats.

Rob Dougherty

Rob is the CEO of Wise Wizard Games, creator of the Star Realms Deckbuilding Game, winner of 7 Game of the Year awards. In 2023, Wise Wizard Games launched Wacky Wizard Games, a new brand imprint for lighter weight family games and party games. He grew up in upstate NY, joined the US Army at age 17, completed Airborne training, and served with the 1st infantry division. He then attended Northeastern University studying electrical engineering. Rob dropped out of college to pursue his lifelong passion: games. Rob opened the iconic Your Move Games stores, and led the store's legendary professional team which created a slew of Hall of Fame Magic players. Rob went on to run events in New England for Wizards of the Coast and to found multiple game companies. Rob was inducted into the Magic Pro Tour Hall of Fame in 2006, and has over 25 years of industry experience spanning nearly every aspect of hobby gaming.

Jayson is the founder of Solarian Games and co-author of Top Secret: New World Order. He also founded Gygax Magazine and published it together with James Carpio, Luke Gygax, Ernie Gygax, and Tim Kask. A gamer since 1982, he found his way back to the tabletop industry in 2010 when he hosted Roll For Initiative, the 1st Edition AD&D podcast.

Rocky Gardner

Rocky Gardner

Jayson “Rocky” Gardner started playing D&D in the mid-1980's with the Mentzer Red Box and is happy when he is deep within the megadungeons in fantastic worlds. Rocky has recently returned to college and is still a full-time husband and father.

When not delving deep or studying, he writes for Silver Bulette. He has also written for Planet X Games and Frog God Games. Besides writing, Rocky does layout for Skeeter Green Productions, Greg Gillespie, Pacesetter Games, and others. Currently he is working on Fantastic Geographic and the adventure, Lord Galrond’s Keep.

Allen Hammack

Allen Hammack

Allen Hammack has contributed to over 100 products as author, designer, editor, or developer. The “Master of Mythology” most recently was editor of and on the design team for the Top Secret: New World Order™ espionage RPG by Solarian. Hired by Gary Gygax in 1978, Allen was Manager of Designers during the “Golden Era” of TSR. He writes often on using myths and legends of the world in gaming: three books on the subject, the Viking Gods boardgame (which some say foretold the Thor: Ragnarok movie…), and was co-editor of Dungeon Masters Guide and Deities & Demigods during the five years he served at TSR. Allen’s most popular module is C2: Ghost Tower of Inverness, which was specifically referenced in the second D&D movie and the TV show The Goldbergs.

Allen also wrote I9: Day of Al-Akbar and A3: Assault on the Aerie of The Slave Lords and edited the games Top Secret and Boot Hill. Diecast Games published his module Night of the Black Swords. Allen contributed to a Goodman Games book and is working with other publishers on projects.

Allen has advanced degrees in chemistry and computer science and enjoys acting in local theater. He is the emcee for Beer Croquet at an Alabama con…buy him a beer and ask for details!

Diesel LaForce

Diesel LaForce

Diesel is considered one of the first generation staff artists for TSR Hobbies and contributed thousands of pieces of interior artwork and cartography for Dungeons & Dragons adventures and related products. Currently, he takes on commission work for gaming products and private individuals, most recently adding Magic the Gathering cards to his portfolio. Diesel has also branched out, sculpting his own line of fantasy-themed handmade collectible items. He has also been commissioned to do a line of gaming trophies for NTRPG Con. Diesel is always up for a chat and will sign your books, prints and cards.

Mary Lindholm

Mary Lindholm

Mary is an avid gamer and dungeon master. She started out as the editor and contributor to Phoenix Literary Magazine. Later she wrote for Prima Video Game guides for games like Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot and Asheron's Call 2. Chapter 13 Press used Mary to help edit Spooky Beans and Tales from the Fallen Empire role playing game. Later she became editor for TSR Games' magazine Gygax Magazine. Most recently Mary edited Anarchy! by James Carpio. She writes and edits with Solarian Games and is co-authoring a new role playing game named Witchlight. In addition she recently completed a novel that is pending final editing.

Ian McGarty

Ian McGarty

Ian McGarty has been dungeon delver and artifact seeker since he first cracked a Dungeons & Dragons 1E book. Cutting his teeth on 1st and 2nd edition created an appreciation for character death and having lethal challenges. Ian has written and designed adventures for companies such as Frog God Games, Planet X Games, and Mudpuppy Games. Ian also tosses his hat into the cartography ring and his work can be found in Skeeter Green Productions products and The Red Wizards of Thay by Ed Greenwood, Alex Kammer, and Alan Patrick. Ian enjoys fantasy and sci-fi games and even has the opportunity to use them in his day gig as a Speech Language Pathologist. Ian enjoys gaming with his wife and two daughters and his dog, Bulette. Some of his recent titles include: The Spattered Patina of the Barbarous Blades, Fire In the MOHLE, Fantastic Geographic, and Jungle Incursion Into the Lair of the Batmen, and numerous submissions in Scientific Barbarian.

David O. Miller

David O. Miller

Fantasy and Science Fiction illustrator David O. Miller has created art for many Role Playing game companies such as TSR, Wizards of the Coast, GDW, White Wolf, Steve Jackson Games, West End Games, North Wind Adventures and Dark City Games. His TSR illustrations include interior color and black & white illustrations for the Revised Second Edition AD&D Player's Handbook and Dungeon Master Guide, Castle Sites, City Sites, Spells & Magic, color covers and interior black & white illustrations for Spelljammer, Dark Sun, Mystara, and various Dungeon Magazine and Dragon Magazine covers and interiors. David was introduced to role playing games in 1977 while at college, first playing D&D before switching over to Runequest and other Chaosium games. After graduation, David started attending GenCon where he landed contract work as a freelance fantasy and sci-fi artist. Currently, David operates his own graphic design/illustration studio in Long Island, NY where he still produces fantasy and sci-fi art for many independent game companies. An avid DM that plays a huge variety of games David’s specialty is running fairly intense and immersive Call of Cthulhu games, something he has done since he first started playing the game back in 1981.

Chet Minton is an award-winning illustrator and graphic designer who specializes in an olde-school fantasy art style, the druid arts of animal friendship and rehearsing his monologues of world domination into the mirror. His work has graced many pages of tabletop roleplaying products, art books, clothing apparel, graphic novels, and his own line of adult coloring books. When Chet's not traversing the tumultuous tides of the freelancer's lifestyle, you'll find him fulfilling the whims and desires of his three feline overlords... and the occasional visits of a run-away horse.

Debbie is the Chief Operating Officer at Wise Wizard Games, creator of the Star Realms Deckbuilding Game, winner of 7 Game of the Year awards. In 2023, Wise Wizard Games launched Wacky Wizard Games, a new brand imprint for lighter weight family games and party games. She has launched six game titles, and helped Wise Wizard Games raise over $6M with crowdfunding. She has over 15 years of marketing experience in high-growth businesses. Debbie was previously a high tech executive, and ran product line management for a billion dollar product line at IBM. She has an engineering degree and an MS in business from MIT, and she manages day-to-day operations of the Wise Wizard Games business.

Ever wonder how things happen behind the scenes at Frog God Games? Edwin works primarily on the 5th Edition side of our publications. Along with checking the rules, Edwin attempts to balance the expectations of 5e gamers with Frog God Games’ reputation and style. He tries to keep the feel of a 1st or 3rd Edition game while bringing it into the 5th Edition environment. Edwin Nagy takes these herculean tasks and executes them with style and grace.

Edwin got his start at Frog God Games, with then future Frog God Games executive Zach Glazar, by offering some editing advice for Lesser Gnome’s Whisper & Venom boxed set. Zach Glazar saw the talent and skill Edwin offered and pulled him along for the ride during his own transition to Frog God Games soon after Lesser Gnome was purchased by Frog God Games. Edwin, has improved Frog God Games products and management since that acquisition, by offering a focused eye and updated management practices to the various products and projects that he has been responsible for.

Jay Parker

Jay Parker

Jay Parker is known for his work on Dr. Who Adventures in Time and Space, Cyberpunk V3, Cyberpunk Red and Top Secret NWO, along with the creator of G-Core. He is also the designer and developer of Flint Dille's 'Subterraliens' and the new Feudal Japan meets Cyberpunk RPG 'Katana-Ra'. Jay's been in the industry for 20+ years and touts over 200+ releases to his name. He also teaches game design for a university and an Art of Game Design course at a community college. When not designing and teaching, Jay can be found playing Animal Crossing Pocket Camp and Star Trek Fleet Command on his phone, or out and about causing trouble with his 'decent' wife.

Oscar Rios

Oscar Rios

Oscar Rios is an Ennie award winning author, editor and publisher of cosmic horror fiction and role-playing supplements for the Call of Cthulhu game line. Since his debut in 2005 with the campaign Ripples from Carcosa, this proudly Hispanic New Yorker has written over a hundred and ten scenarios. His works include The 7th Edition Guide to Cthulhu Invictus, The Legacy of Arrius Lurco and The Eldritch New England Holiday Collection campaigns, and multiple scenarios in the updated Horror on the Orient Express. His fiction works include entries in several short story collections, such as Cthulhu’s Dark Cults, Horror for the Holidays, Heroes of Red Hook, Further Tales of Cthulthu Invictus, and Tails of Terror. He founded Golden Goblin Press in 2013. During the pandemic he rediscovered his passion for Star Frontiers, a sci-fi game by TSR from the early 80’s, and joined the staff of the game’s fanzine, Star Frontiersman. An avid gamer, Oscar claims that the space behind a Keeper’s screen is his natural habitat.

Joey Royale

Joey Royale

Joey Royale is an entertainer and creator with a deep love of role playing games, particularly Dungeon Crawl Classics and all of its offshoots. Through his brand Get Haunted Industries, he has published Ninja City, Darkest Dice, and his Weird Heroes of Public Access series of rpg zines. He hosts Joey Royale’s Pizza Party on the Goodman Games Twitch channel where he explores inspiration and creativity in gaming along with action figures, weird music, and philosophy.

Bill Webb

Bill Webb

Bill, along with Clark Peterson, started Necromancer Games during the dawn of the D&D 3E game and immediately the phrase “Third Edition Rules, First Edition Feel” became a catchphrase of the new era. Through Necromancer, the pair published dozens of nostalgia-filled adventures that captured that elusive old-school zeitgeist. No product was more an example of this than Rappan Athuk, the deadly mega-dungeon that became one of the most popular settings for a new generation of adventurers. Eventually, Frog God Games became Bill’s playground in the new era of retro-clones and old school classic dungeon adventures. Since its beginnings, Frog God Games has produced several wildly successful Kickstarter’s and IndieGoGo’s for both old and new school role-players with Rappan Athuk, Razor Coast, The Lost Lands, and Quests of Doom.

Stephen Wollett

Stephen Wollett

What started out as a hobby in 2006 has grown into a career. Steve Wollett got his start producing small Indy projects. He acted in several of them but storytelling itself has always been his dream job. Today's Steve is living the dream. He is the CEO of Furious Nerd Productions and Nerdy Dog Productions. He has been quoted saying. " I've made more than 180 films that you have never heard of."

Steve is also an accomplished author with a more than a dozen books to his name. Titles include “God's Assassin", "The Gorgon's Lament", and others.

As a game designer, he has published numerous video games and a handful of tabletop games. Titles include "Nerd in Space”, “Fatal Fems", "Wacky Climber", and more.

Steve is a true renaissance man. He has worked as a medical researcher, land surveyor, soldier, shopkeeper, alternative medical consultant, fire fighter, paramedic, filmmaker, door to door salesman, how many more occupations. He holds degrees in comparative religion, as well as criminal justice administration.

Brad Younie is an RPG game designer and author who hails from New Hampshire. As Carnivore Games, he has published two role-playing games: Now Playing, and The Unexplained. As an author, he has published three novels and two short stories.

Brad is an accomplished Game Master, having run events at local conventions, such as TotalCon, for decades.
